This class introduces the fundamentals of yoga, including standing, sitting, kneeling, and supine poses, breathwork, mindfulness, and yoga philosophy and ethics. It is appropriate for anyone able to get up and down off the floor comfortably. Practitioners of all levels of Yoga experience are welcome. Instruction will support beginners - moving slowly and holding poses for several breaths to allow students to build muscle memory in each shape– but more experienced practitioners who enjoy a slower-paced practice are welcome too.
