This class incorporates traditional yoga asana, breathwork, and relaxation but is based around our YogaBody-style yoga trapeze rigs.  See specific class/camp titles for age/grade ranges.   Learn more about Yoga Trapeze classes.

LEVEL 1 - This class introduces the basic vocabulary and core skills of a Yoga Trapeze practice. Students will develop comfort doing inversions on the hammock and supporting their weight in different holds while building strength and confidence. Class often includes mat-based poses, breathwork, games on and off the rigs, and always ends with relaxation. Appropriate for beginners, students still developing confidence with inversions, or students who prefer a slower-paced class.

LEVEL 2 - Designed for students with a semester or a full camp week under their belt who are very comfortable doing inversions, have the arm and core strength to pull up into the rigs, and are proficient with the basic repertoire of Yoga Trapeze practice. Some students with experience in other gymnastics or circus disciplines may request approval to join our LEVEL 2 classes by attending a weekend Pop-Up to learn the vocabulary and core skills, or by scheduling a private lesson for evaluation. Class will incorporate mat-based poses, breathwork, basic and more advanced Yoga Trapeze postures, games and creative activities, and relaxation.

For safety on the rigs, trapeze-based classes and camps are limited to ages 8 and older because students must have adequate grip and core strength, be able to follow verbal directions, and show impulse control not typical of younger students. Additionally, classes are limited to a maximum of ten (10) students.
