This workshop dives into the science behind sensory development and how movement and sensory play supports brain growth in young children. You’ll learn how to incorporate sensory exploration into yoga class or home routines and use yoga as a tool for integration, attention-building, and play.

You’ll Learn:

  • Why vestibular and proprioceptive input matters in yoga

  • How to use rhythm, music, and movement to support development

  • Activity examples for babies through preteen

  • Interactive stations to experience sensory play strategies firsthand

  • How to spot and support sensory dysregulation to support your students while staying within your professional scope

  • Practical tools to bring into your home or classroom immediately

Format: Live In-Person / Zoom + Recording Access
CEUs: 2 Yoga Alliance contact hours
