by the Eastern Market metro stop and\nseveral buses along Pennsylvania A
venue or 8th Street.\n\n \n\nQuick tips:\n\n All of our classes are on
the lower level\, down a flight of stairs.\n Both children and adults
are kindly asked to remove their shoes before\n entering the classroo
m space.\n Cubbies are available in the classroom space for storing pe
rsonal\n belongings.\n Please pack dirty diapers away with you.\n
Small folding strollers are welcome inside\, but please leave jogging-s
tyle\n or bulky strollers locked to the bike rack or otherwise secured
outside. For\n safety reasons\, strollers cannot be left in the stair
way or on landings.\n\n \n\nStudio Etiquette\n\n Please leave shoes an
d coats in the lobby area along with bulky\n non-valuables.\n \n
Bring valuables - phones and wallets - into the studio space and store
them\n on the cubby shelves. While we do lock the studio door once cla
ss begins\, we\n cannot be responsible for missing valuables.\n \n
Please leave all toys and lovies in bags\, completely out of sight. C
onsider\n leaving water bottles in your bags during toddler classes. W
ater bottles are\n shockingly distracting\, both for their owner and o
ther children. Adults and\n older children/teens should feel free to h
ave their bottles with them.\n \n Diapers may be changed wherever
is comfortable for you and your child. \n However\, there is no daily
trash pickup at the studio. Please pack dirty diapers\n away with you.
\n\n \n\nIf you are running late . . .\n\nDon't worry. You can let us kn
ow – text: 202-544-0434.\n\nWe lock the door after the welcome song or th
e initial warmup. If the teacher\nknows you are coming\, they can leave t
he door open for you. For kids' classes\,\nit is totally ok to ring the b
ell or knock to get the instructor's attention if\nthe door is locked. Be
aware that you may need to wait a few minutes if the\ninstructor is enga
ged in an activity.\n\nIf you are entering late\, please do so as discree
tly as possible. The instructor\nwill assist you with setting up if neces
sary. Please make eye contact in case\nyour instructor has laid a place f
or you.\n\nPlease note that the warmup in adult class serves an important
safety function.\nIf you join late\, take a couple of minutes to do some
  gentle movements before\njumping into the instructor's sequence.\n\n \n\
nLoaner Yoga Mats\n\nWe have a number of studio mats that we can loan out
. If you are using one for\nan adult class\, we request that you wipe it
down afterward. Look for the bin of\npurple cloths and the spray bottles
between the cubby shelves.\n\n \n\nStroller Parking\n\nFamilies are welco
me to lock strollers up out front. We provide a cable and lock\n(check yo
ur registration receipt or ask your instructor for the code)\n\nFamilies
may also bring strollers downstairs if they can be safely carried down.\n
Please fold strollers whenever possible to reduce tripping hazards in the
lobby.\nStrollers cannot be left in the entryway\, even folded\, because
  they are a fire\nhazard.\nDIRECTIONS AND PARKING\n\nBreathing Space is o
n the south side of Pennsylvania Avenue. Look for the glass\ndoor with ou
r lotus flower logo. \n\nFrom the Eastern Market Metro: From the top of t
he escalator or elevator\, turn\naround to face 7th Street SE. Cross 7th
Street and walk along Pennsylvania\nAvenue on the same side of the street
toward the Capitol. \n\nParking: Metered parking is available on Pennsy

=15629\n----\nAt this age\, movement and imagination are the same thing.
Preschoolers don't\njust do a pose — they become the animal\, stomp throu
gh the story\, collapse\ninto a puddle at exactly the right moment. Presc
hooler Yoga & Creative Movement\nis built entirely around that.\n\nEach c
lass moves through yoga poses\, breathing exercises\, and songs woven int
o\nimaginative stories and games — the kind that get a nearly-two-year-ol
d and a\nfour-year-old equally invested\, for completely different reason
 s. The teacher\nshapes every session to meet the full range in the room.
Your child doesn't need\nto be ready for structured movement. They need t
o be ready to play.\n\nOver a semester\, children build real physical ski
 lls — coordination\, strength\,\nbalance — alongside something less visib
le but just as important: the ability\nto return to calm after big moveme
nt and big feelings. That's an early\nself-regulation skill. It shows up
later at school\, at the dinner table\, and\neverywhere in between.\n\nTh
ere are no personal mats in this class. The whole room is the practice sp
ace\n— children and caregivers move freely through every part of it toget
her.\nYou're not watching from the side\; you're in it. Class ends with a
short final\nrelaxation\, and mats are provided. No need to bring your o
wn.\n\nClasses meet weekly. If your child spends the first few sessions r
 unning laps or\nwatching from your lap\, that's not a setback — it's exac
tly how this age\nworks\, and the class is designed for it.\n\nWho belong
s here: Confident movers from nearly age two through four.\nRegistration
is per child and includes up to two adults attending on a weekly\nbasis.
Siblings receive an automatic 50% discount. \n\nThe same adult doesn't ne
ed to come every week — grandparents\, nannies\, and\nother favorite care
givers are welcome. A parent or guardian should be the\nregistering accou
nt holder. If a different grown-up will be regularly attending\nwith your
child\, please add them to the account and note this in the comments at\
 ncheckout.\n\nSee more about our registration\n<https://www.breathingspac
