Yoga is a fun way for children and teens to learn techniques for concentrating, reducing stress, and connecting to their bodies in a loving way while building fitness and having fun. Breathing Space classes are full of age-appropriate yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques that support gross motor development, fitness, balance, body awareness, language acquisition, and creative expression.

Classes for younger children incorporate creative movement, songs, stories, rhymes and rhythm, fun props, and imaginative play. We encourage each child to embrace their own unique expression of yoga poses while supporting their development and growth. Parents and children playfully move together through poses, songs, and activities appropriate for the age group.
